Jamaica Beach Villas is a dynamic villa booking platform I developed while working at Technomide. The project was built on WordPress with a strong focus on customization, scalability, and user-friendly management.
I designed and developed a custom plugin using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL that allows administrators to efficiently manage villa listings directly from the WordPress dashboard. The plugin includes full CRUD functionality, enabling admins to add, update, and delete villas with ease through a dedicated admin interface.
On the frontend, I implemented shortcode functionality to dynamically display villa listings, ensuring flexibility in content placement across the website. Each villa is presented with detailed information to enhance user experience and engagement.
To handle bookings, I integrated WooCommerce functionality, transforming villas into bookable products. Users can seamlessly add villas to their cart and proceed through a structured checkout process, making the booking experience smooth and reliable.
This project highlights my ability to extend WordPress beyond its default capabilities by building custom solutions and integrating eCommerce features for real-world applications.
